1. How did Brewhouse & Kitchen begin?
Founded in 2011 by pub industry trailblazers Simon Bunn and Kris Gumbrell, the entrepreneurs saw an opportunity to recreate the ‘Great British Pub’ – a great social space with knowledgeable, friendly teams, the best beer, wine & spirits (a range of craft beers are brewed on site by the resident brewer) and excellent food!
2. What differentiates Brewhouse and Kitchen from other pubs and breweries?
Brewhouse and Kitchen is the UK’s largest and most innovative brewpub group! We offer brewery experience days, beer masterclasses, craft gin tasting and now our NEW whisky and beer pairing masterclass across the 23 brewpubs making B&K unique and different.
3. Do you have any exciting plans for the future of Brewhouse & Kitchen that you’d like to tell us about?
We are very excited! We are looking to open more Brewhouse & Kitchens very soon – watch this space!
4. Obviously it's difficult to choose, but what would you say is your favourite Brewhouse and Kitchen experience and why?
My favourite B&K experience is the whisky and beer pairing masterclass - The experience where two beautiful worlds collide! Our whisky and beer expert will guide you through the origins and history of beer and whiskies including an insight into the distilling and brewing, and the similarities of each process. You will be treated to 5 tastings from a range of interesting whiskies and 5 different paired beers (special tasting glasses will be provided). Tastings notes of each will be explained, allowing you to fully appreciate the subtleties from each of the beers, each of the whiskies and how the pairings work. To finish - choose your meal of choice from our Academy menu. Tastings are complemented with some tasty nibbles and water (room temp) is on offer. Its an experience not to be missed!

Our delicious academy one course menu is available with all our experiences. You can choose from a mouth-watering burger, or a selection of popular mains taken from our B&K core menu. The perfect end to a wonderful B&K experience!
