007 Powerboat Experience

Spend the day in the mold of Her Majesty's most dangerous weapon, speeding through the water in two different types of Powerboat fit for Mr Bond himself! On this fantastic Powerboat driving experience, you will get hands on action behind the wheel of two immensely powerful powerboats, with expert guidance ensuring your high octane racing is at its fastest and most effective! You'll be free to reenact your favourite Bond moments out on the water, powering through waves at stunning speeds!

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your experience will begin with a safety briefing and an introduction to the boats, before getting changed into your Powerboat kit and safety gear for the day. Then it’s onto the water to get accustomed to the powerboats, which have comfortable & secure seating making this suitable for all adventure seekers. Once you've been briefed up it's time to hit the water for your first of two missions!

Mission 1
You will be out on the water gaining some hands on action driving this superb powerboat, feeling the speed and grace of this highly responsive racing machine. During this experience the Skipper is on hand to give full instruction on how to drive the boat to its limit, giving you free reign to explore for yourself! You will also have the opportunity to test your skills on the offshore racing circuit.

A short break will follow, where you can visit the marina bar, restaurant or cafe

Mission 2
After a short break, you'll be stepping aboard a 37ft Sunseeker Powerboat, experiencing the height of luxury with the premium in luxury powerboats. feel the power and quality of the stunning powerboat as you get behind the wheel and open up the throttles of the two high powered engines, making this a truly outstanding experience. The instructor will show you how its done, and then it’s your turn behind the wheel.

To finish the day you be given a complimentary photograph of the two boats.

Restrictions
Minimum Age: 12
Maximum Age: 70

Under 16's will need to be accompanied by an adult.
Not suitable for those with: Back, Neck & Heart Complaints or for pregnant women.
There is restricted access for people with disabilities, but please enquire as it could be possible.

Duration
You will be on the water for around 2 hours in total, but expect to be at the centre for around 4 hours (depending on experience times).
In some cases, you may have the sunseeker experience in the morning and then the racing powerboat in the afternoon.

What to Wear / Equipment
heart complaints or for pregnant women. Please wear jeans or shorts and
training or boat shoes. Please also bring a change of clothes- just in case.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators can watch from the marina bar, restaurant or cafe.

Weather
Extreme weather conditions may cause the experience to be rescheduled. Please phone the centre on the day to ensure it is going ahead.

Availability
The 007 Powerboat experience is available from May to October, mainly at weekends.
