30 Minute Lake District Flight

Take in the stunning panoramic views of the Lake District upon this 30 minute helicopter ride! From the departure site in the rolling countryside you will head west to the Newbry Bridge on Lake Windermere and the beautiful surrounding landscape. You will then head north over the historic Belle Isle and the Marina on the edge of Bowness. The spectacular views out of the helicopter window are among the most spectacular in Britain so make sure you remember your camera!

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre you will receive a safety briefing about your flight before climbing aboard the helicopter. Take off vertically; watch out the window as the views grow more stunning as you head deeper into the rolling hills of the Lake District! Enjoy the 30 minute flight, learning about the famous landmarks below from the pilot before touching down back at the heliport.

Minimum Age: 4 years (children under 9 must be accompanied by a paying adult)
Maximum Weight: 17stone 7 lbs

Duration
Your flight will last approximately 30 minutes, however please allow time for safety briefings.

What to Wear / Equipment
Please wear warm clothes and soft soled shoes.

Group Size / Spectators
This experience is great for both individuals and groups alike.
Spectators are welcome to  come along and take photographs from the ground.

Weather
This experience may be affected by the weather so we advise guests to contact the centre before setting off.

Availability
Flights are normally scheduled once a month on a weekend, from March to November.
