Position: Senior Software Developer

About You

We are seeking senior developer to add strengthen our in-house IT team. We are looking for an experienced PHP/MySQL developer with over 6 years experience for the continued development of an online experience booking engine and our voucher business intranet and extranet systems. Alongside the company directors the chosen candidate will help to develop and deliver the company’s online IT strategy. The candidate should have a computer science related degree or higher. They must be an excellent project manager with a sound technical knowledge.

The candidate should have a clear grasp of web 2.0 technologies, including the use of the jquery framework plus a sound knowledge of back office CMS systems & ecommerce sites.

Tasks include (but not exclusively limited to)

• Development of company online IT strategy
• Architecture and development of company booking software
  

Essential Experience Required

• Degree level of higher computer science / technical subject
• 6 years+ industry experience in relevant position
• PHP, MYSQL, XML
• Previous software development experience
• Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
  

Experience & skills Preferred

• AJAX, CSS, XHTML, SOAP, XML-RPC
• Familiarity with linux server platform (LAMP)
• Interest in extreme sports
