Archery Experience - Child

This great Archery experience for kids is the perfect introduction to a sport that requires skills, steady hands and hand-eye co-ordination - great for young development! Here you can take aim, pull back and fire at the target for 1.5 hours, under the supervision of the instructors. Feel the power of the bow and the speed of the arrow as you fire at the target over again, improving your aim and hits on the board!

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre the day will begin with a safety brief and introduction to the equipment. Then, once ready you'll be straight on to the firing range where you can take aim, fire and improve your archery skills for one and a half hours! A great experience for familes and those with a fancy for the weapons of old!

Restrictions
Minimu Age: 8
Children under 18 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.

Duration
The Archery Experience will last for around 1.5 hours, but expect to be at the centre for around 2 - 2.5 hours.

Start times are 10.00, 12.30 and 15.00
Please arrive 30 minutes before the experience is due to take place.

What to Wear / Equipment
All equipment is supplied by the centre. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes that are relevant for the day's weather.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome and can watch from a small distance.

Weather
Poor weather conditions may cause the experience to be cancelled and rescheduled. Please phone the centre on the day to be sure it is going ahead.

Availability
Archery is available between March to October. There are also sometimes dates within the school half-term holidays in February.
