Archery Tuition

The great sport of Archery continues to maintain its popularity having ruled the roost for centuries as the weapon of choice. With this great experience you can get to grips with and learn a great sport that is as rewarding as it is challenging. With a stationery target and 1.5 hours of tuition & practice, your mission is to gain the highest possible score with the meanest and most unforgiving aim! The practice session is followed by a competition, adding some competitive spirit to your experience allowing you to show off what you've been learning!

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your Archery experience will begin with a safety brief and introduction to the equipment, before getting out and getting familiar with your weaponry & target! Then, once briefed and confident you will begin the 1-to-1 tuition with a qualified instructor. With the in depth 1-to-1 tuition you can learn the correct techniques and skills to really improve your aim, ultimately your success at hitting the target! After a practice session you will enjoy a competition that becomes gradually harder, as the archery target faces reduce in size for each successive round. Medals are awarded for first, second and third positions.

Restrictions
Minimum Age: 16

Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Duration
The Archery Tuition experience will last for around 1.5 hours. Please arrive around 15 minutes prior to the start time.

The Archery Tuition will need at least 4 people to run, so you can either train in a group or by taking 3 friends along with you!

What to Wear / Equipment
You should wear comfortable casual clothing. It is best not to wear a very loose top or scarves, as these can interfere with the bow string.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome. Any children spectating must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Weather
If the weather is very poor the activity may be carried out indoors if the indoor range is available, otherwise the experience will be rearranged for a different date.

Please confirm with the centre on the day to ensure it is going ahead.
