Discover Wakeboarding (Cable)

Experience the thrill of wakeboarding today! With expert tuition throughout and plenty of hands on practice, master the art of control and improve you core balance. Originating from the 1980's, wakeboarding has recently become an alternative sport for snowboarding fanatics to enjoy throughout the summer months and with its rewarding features its not hard to see why! Listen to the qualified instructor as you learn the basic techniques, from riding in a straight line to docking starts, before pushing your skills to limit with turn arounds! Cable courses are great for complete beginners to practice an array of new found skills within a safe environment.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your experience will begin with a full safety briefing as you get kitted out in the necessary gear. Learn the basic principles of wakeboarding with a land-based lesson before jumping in the water to have a go. The qualified instructor will be on hand to help as you master the basic skills, including the correct stance, docking and water starts, riding in a straight line and finally turn arounds. Enjoy plenty of hands-on practice throughout the two hour lesson, before your experience draw to a close with a de-brief back at the centre.

Restrictions
Minimum Age: 14
If you are extraordinarily tall or short, or feel that your physique may impair your enjoyment of this activity in any way, please check with the centre when booking.

Duration
This experience lasts approximately 2 hours.

What to Wear / Equipment
All safety equipment will be provided by the centre. Please bring a towel, swimming costume and a set of warm clothes to change into after.

Group Size / Spectators
Maximum Group Size: 5 This experience is great for both individuals and groups alike.
Spectators welcome.

Weather
This experience can be affected by extreme weather conditions. If in doubt, please contact the centre on the day to make sure it is going ahead.

Availability
This experience is available on most weekends throughout the year.
Weekdays can be requested for minimum groups of 3.
