The fantastic Castle Combe circuit opened in 1950 on the airfield that was privately owned by Castle Combe estate, which has remained under the ownership of the Gorst family. Although the airfield had operated for 7 years prior to the opening, it wasn't until July of that year that the circuit opened and staged the first British Motorcycle and Light car Club. Over the next few years, the circuit attracted the likes of Sterling Moss, Mike Hawthorn Roy Salvadori and John Surtees.

Castle Combe has staged many motor sport events over the decades and has been a popular choice among enthusiasts. The previous high speed record was 130mph , set by Nigel Greensall, although this was prior to the forced alterations that the track made in 1998 following a tragic accident.

The new layout is slightly longer and includes some fantastic corners and bends for enthusiasts and experience drivers, perfect for testing the capabilities of supercars such as Ferrari, Single Seater and other such driving days!
