Rally Driving and the fantastic art of Drifting have burst onto our screens and into the motor world during recent years, with movie makers cashing in on the ultra desirability of just how cool the sport is. With extreme car control and such a high level of skill, it is easy to understand why. Well, now you can learn and practice those skills right here in the UK! Oh yes, this superb sport is no longer reserved for the uber tuned street racers of Japan, it is now available right here in this novice - expert lesson! You'll be learning and improving skills from clutch control to racing lines, as well as having a jolly good time in the mean time!

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a safety briefing covering all aspects of the cars and the track, as well as the basic skills that are going to be covered. It's then time to step into the powerful BR Racing RST Rally Academy training car, with an experienced instructor in the passenger seat. You will then begin the first of two driving sessions with your instructor, where you will be taught all about how to properly implement the clutch, steering and braking control in order to become learn and become familiar with the control of the car. Once you have mastered the basic controls you will be taught the skills of Rally! You will be given the chance to execute powerslide and the Scandinavian flick and with some fine tuning you will be on the road to becoming a rally star! The instructor will mark your skills and give you feedback so you can improve your skills throughout the experience as well as have something to improve in the future. Your day’s driving will come to a halt with a debrief and the presentation of your personalised driving certificate.

Restrictions
Min Age: 16+
Min Height: 4'2"
Max Height: 6'4"
Max Weight: 18 Stone
No previous driving experience required.

Duration
Please allow up to 4 hours for your experience including: Briefing, tuition with an instructor and between 20-25 minutes driving time.

What to Wear / Equipment
Dress comfortably and warmly, and wear trainers rather than heavy boots. Ladies, please wear jeans or comfortable slacks as opposed to skirts, as you will belted into the car with a six point harness. The RST is an open-top vehicle and you may get wet and muddy, so wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

Group Size / Spectators
There will be a maximum of four groups of six, with all tuition held on a one to one basis. You can bring up to three spectators with you, one of whom must be over 18. Children must be accompanied at all times. Spectators are advised to stay within the designated viewing areas and observe the safety instructions. No pets can be admitted.

Availability
Weekend dates are available at least once a month all year round. There may be additional weekday dates during school holidays, subject to availability. It is recommended that you book at least six weeks in advance.

Please Note: The track surfaces differ between location: St Neots is an off-road track whereas Huntingdon is mainly tarmac with a few loose areas.
