Aqua Sphereing (Zorbing) for 2

Have you ever wondered what it's like in a washing machine? Of course you have...well now you and a mate can try it for yourselves!Starting with a 12 foot inflatable ball, which has an inner chamber - (that's where you go), throw in a few buckets of water and then roll down a hill. With no harnesses, you are completely free to slip and slide unharnessed inside the Zorb, accompanied by thirty litres of water!

Agenda

Once you have arrived at the centre and meeted and greeted the instructors its time for you and a friend to be strapped straight into the Sphere. No messing about here, just prepare for the ride of your life! Your Spheric home for this experience consists of two chambers; The outer chamber is the protective shell and stands 12ft (3.6m) tall. Inside that is the inner chamber which is just 6ft (1.8m) tall, meaning a 3ft (0.9m) cushion of air is provided to take the edge off the bounce. Once you are completely ready one of our instructors will throw in 30L of water and give the ball a nudge, and your rolling descent will begin! You can expect to reach speeds of up to 30mph on this fantastically disorientating experience, and you can definitely expect to be slightly dizzy once you've clambered out and stopped laughing!

Maximum Height: 7ft 2in
Maximum Weight: 16 stone (women) 18 stone (men) (60" girth)

Parental consent is required in all locations if under 18 years old.

It is strongly recommended that you do not eat too much or consume any alcohol before riding in the Sphere. 
Sphereing is not suitable if you are pregnant, suffering from high blood pressure, any heart condition or epilepsy, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, have any back or neck problems or have had an operation within the past twelve months, currently undergoing any medical treatment or have any other condition that may be affected by participating in such an activity.



Duration
As a guide, please expect to be at the site for around an hour. However, at certain times in the season, the waiting time may be longer than this.

What to Wear / Equipment
Please wear a long sleeved t-shirt and comfortable trousers. Remember - you will get wet! So bring a towel and change of clothes. You also need to bring socks and gloves to wear in the Aqua Sphere. Spherers need to remove ALL jewellery - watch, rings, necklace, piercings etc.

Group Size / Spectators
You are welcome to bring along friends and relatives to watch. There are strict health & safety regulations in place that must be followed by all whilst on site.

Weather
Aqua-Sphereing can be affected by extreme weather, if in doubt please check with the centre before setting off.

Availability
Aqua-sphereing is available from April until the end of September and operates most weekends with selected weekdays. In Newquay, and Paington it is available from May until September.
