High Speed Ride and introduction to 4x4 driving

Aston Martin has long been one of the most desirable and respectable names on the road, producing a fine range of supercars to rival and surpass the best from Europe. With the advances in technology and design, the V8 Vantage has become one of the finest Aston Martins to date, with a superb drive quality and performance level. The 4.3l V8 engine is beautifully refined and a trophy of English car design. The Audi R8 has shot to the top of everybody's wish list since its arrival in 2007. Based on a Lamborghini Gallardo, the R8 is a real threat to the well established supercars due to the beautiful design and absence of numbers on the road of the German supercar. The 4.2l V8 supercar is incredibly powerful and futuristically designed, with many brand new features set to influence the motor world over the next few years.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a welcome introduction and safety briefing, covering all aspects and techniques required to control the Aston martin V8 & the Audi R8. Once briefed up its time to buckle up and get ready for your first session, in the Audi R8 for a total of 4-6 laps (4 in Heyford Park). After you have driven one of the finest cars in Germany it is time to compare it against one of the finest from England, with another 4-6 laps driving the Aston Martin V8 Vantage (6 in Seighford). You will follow up this terrific experience with a 2 lap high speed ride from a professional driver. The day's driving will be complete with an introductory taster session to 4x4 driving before your de-brief of the whole day with your instructor. In Oxfordshire you will recieve a familiarisation lap in a Subaru Impreza WRX before you handle the supercars. All venues finish with a presentation of certificates and driver analysis forms to conclude your day.

Restrictions
Participants must hold a full UK driving licence (Held for at least 1 year for Oxfordshire), be under 6'5" tall and weigh less than 18 stone. Minimum age 18.

Duration
Please allow approximately 4 hours at the venue for the Audi R8 vs Aston Martin Experience.

What to Wear / Equipment
Please wear comfortable clothing and trainers.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are encouraged to attend. Extra drives and passenger rides are available on the day subject to availability. Free 4x4 Off-Road passenger ride for spectators (Staffordshire venue only).
