Audi have always been one of the more desirable cars on the road, with classic 4 wheel drives like the Quattro and starring roles in films such as Ronin. The new range of RS cars are causing quite a stir within the motor world and are becoming a ‘must-have’ for celebrities and sportsmen alike. Since its introduction to our roads in 2007, the R8 has been a joy to behold and witness as one gracefully drives by. The incredibly powerful 4.2L V8 engine produces around 420bhp and will shift from 0-60mph in around 4 seconds! The slick styling combined with the raw efficiency of the German engine creates a simply stunning supercar that must be driven to be truly appreciated.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a safety briefing covering all of the necessary circuit techniques required for driving the Audi R8. At Prestwold Hall you will begin with a 3 lap demonstration with your instructor in the performance training car, at Stratford upon Avon you shall receive 2 demonstration laps and at York and Kenilworth you will receive 1 demonstration lap in the performance saloon driven by instructors. Once all of the briefing and practice laps are out of the way you'll be ready to drive the magnificent Audi R8 for either 3 - 6 fantastic driving laps (Oxfordshire 6 laps, Surrey 3 laps). Your driving day will be completed with the presentation of your individual driving certificate.

Restrictions
You must have a full UK or European driving license with no serious offences. You must be able to drive a manual transmission. Drivers shorter than 5'0" or taller than 6'6" and/or weighing more than 17 stone may have difficulty being accommodated. Minimum age 18.

Duration
Please allow 1.5 hour at the venue.

What to Wear / Equipment
You should wear comfortable clothing with thin-soled shoes for driving. All safety equipment is provided by the centre. A photographer is available on site at York and Kenilworth venues.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome, although there is a strict 'No Pets Allowed' rule. There are some on-site catering facilities. In Oxfordshire, Spectators are limited to 2 per driver unless pre booked with the experience.

Weather
This experience will only be affected by extreme weather conditions; if in doubt please check with the centre before setting off.

Availability
Courses start at a range of times on selected Saturdays and weekdays throughout the year. Extra driving laps & passenger rides can be purchased on the day in some locations and subject to availability. In Oxfordshire, availability is mainly on weekdays and occasional Saturdays from March to December.
