Coasteering is a mixture of swimming, traversing and cliff jumping and takes adventure sports to a whole new level! Blowholes, caves and curious sea creatures are only some of the features you will see whilst Coasteering. Coasteering is a fantastic combination of exploring and adrenalin and we know that you will have a grin on your face as you hang on to the base of a cliff being battered by the waves deciding whether your best option is to go up or down! Extreme Element is pleased to be able to offer this half day experience at some of the best locations in the UK.

Agenda
Your experience will start at the centre where you will meet your group and instructors. You will then be given a safety briefing and issued with your kit which includes wetsuit, buoyancy aid, and helmet before heading out with your experienced instructor. The next several hours will be full of adrenalin as you explore the stunning coastline using whatever means possible - climbing, scrambling, swimming and jumping. The session will finish back at the centre.
Restrictions
In South Wales the minimum age is 9yrs old.
You need to have a reasonable level of fitness and be able to swim to do this experience. Minimum group size is 4 people in all centres.
A minimum of 2 people in the week at our Wales location but 4 on weekends.
Duration
South Wales is a full day experience starting at 10am till 3.30pm
What to Wear / Equipment
All specialist equipment is provided including wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet. The instructors carry safety, rescue and first aid equipment. You should take your swim suit and towel, warm clothes to change into afterwards and a pair of trainers (or wetsuit booties) that you don't mind getting wet.
Group Size / Spectators
Coasteering is not a sport for spectators to watch.
Weather
Coasteering can be affected by extreme weather conditions, if in doubt please check with the centre before setting off.
Availability
Coasteering is available in Wales from April until late Oct.
