Discover Sea Kayaking - Beaulieu

The successful sea-kayaking courses are gaining in popularity largely due to the relaxing calmness of the sport when compared to its brother, white water kayaking. This style is far gentler and allows the paddlers to explore far more as the adrenalin is not quite pumping at full capacity! This introduction will ease you into sea kayaking in a gentle environment.

Agenda

A skills based training course on a beautiful estuary in the New Forest. This 3hr training will set you up perfectly for your first days on the sea. All specialist equipment is included, with fully qualified sea kayaking coaches guiding you through every paddle stroke.

Restrictions
Minimum Age: 12
Under 18's must have parental consent.
All Participants must be confident in the water.

Duration
Please allow approximately 3 hours for this experience

What to Wear / Equipment
The centre will provide you with the kayak and wetsuit and buoyancy aid etc. You will need to bring a swimming costume and towel. Also, if it's hot take some sun block and if it's not take some warm clothes to change into afterwards.

Group Size / Spectators
There will be a maximum of 8 students per instructor.
