- Drive the famous Mitsubishi Evolution V as well as a Subaru Impreza and a VW Polo Group N rally car
- Learn skid control, brake and gear control plus under and oversteer techniques
- Recieve individual driving assesment and cerificate
Rally driving requires a unique set of driving skills. Not only are there different surfaces to master – tarmac and gravel, but also different styles of power delivery. Rear wheel drive, front wheel drive and the ultimate in grip – four wheel drive. Under the guidance of an experienced rally instructor, drivers learn skid control, brake and gear control plus under and over-steer techniques. On both a high-speed, high-grip tarmac circuit and a purpose-built rally gravel stage.
Experience Content
Your day will begin with a welcome introduction that will include a thorough safety briefing and rally driving techniques. Then you will be shown first hand the techniques needed in a number of demonstration laps driving a Subaru Impreza on the tarmac stage. Next you will drive a Mitsubishi Evolution V on the tarmac stage before getting behind the wheel of the VW Polo Group N rally car on tarmac/loose gravel stage. Next up you will drive on the loose gravel stage in Group N rally car before an Autotest and finally you will receive an individual driving assessment and certificate.

Duration
The Rally Silver Experience takes place on selected weekdays and Saturdays at Prestwold Hall. Courses start at a selection of times throughout the day and last approximately 3 hours. Spectators welcome.
What to Wear / Equipment
You should wear comfortable clothing with thin-soled shoes for driving. All safety equipment is provided by the centre.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome, although there is a strict 'No Pets Allowed' rule. There are some on-site catering facilities.
Weather
This experience will only be affected by extreme weather conditions; if in doubt please check with the centre before setting off.
Availability
Available on selected Saturdays and weekdays throughout the year.
Restrictions
You must have a full UK or European driving license with no serious offences. You must be able to drive a manual transmission.
Drivers shorter than 5'0" or taller than 6'6" and/or weighing more than 17 stone may have difficulty being accommodated.
