Fly With A Fighter Pilot -

Your chance to fly in an aircraft that is used by the military with a pilot that used to work for the military! You will be flying in The Bulldog which is a low-wing monoplane used by 10 different Air forces, some of which equipped it with rockets and 7.62mm machine guns on underwing hardpoints. Your ex-military instructors will demonstrate how to perform a range of aerobatics and air combat maneuvers - loop, aileron roll, stall turn, barrel roll, Cuban 8, slow roll, split 'S' etc. Then it is your turn, take the controls and play out your child hood fantasies (no, not those ones...).
Experience Content
On arrival you will be provided with refreshments before kitting out into your flying suit. You will then attend a full pre flight briefing which includes all safety/parachute procedures, and how to fly aerobatics. You will then have a quick 1-2-1 chat with your ex military instructor to discuss just how extreme you want your flight to be (very is the correct answer!). It is now time for your flight! Once in the skies your instructor will go through a range of aerobatic maneuvers, explaining the technique involved to execute each one correctly, you will then take the controls and attempt to perform them yourself! Then it's back to base for a personal debrief with your instructor pilot, including no. of G pulled and a signed flight certificate. There will be an opportunity to purchase a DVD of your flight for an additional £45.00

Duration
The Ultimate Aerobatics Experience will last for 2-3hours in total with around 35 minutes flying time.
What to Wear / Equipment
You will be provided with your flying suit and helmet. Please wear FLAT shoes with decent grip (eg: trainers) and no skirts (girls or boys!).

Group Size / Spectators
You can bring a spectator along who will be looked after during the course of the day. It's a good idea to get them to drive because you may well feel knackered after this High G, High Adrenaline experience!
Weather
The Ultimate Aerobatics experience is weather dependent, it is absolutely necessary that you call the centre before you set off for the day.
Availability
Year round - although there is a greater chance of your flight being weather affected in the winter, in which case it will be re-arranged.
Restrictions
Weight limits: Maximum weight is 17 1/2 stone
Age Limits: Minimum age is 16
You will be required to complete a medical form before flying and if you are over 55 years of age you will be required to provide a letter from your doctor confirming your suitability to fly.
