Fly With A Fighter Pilot - Cirencester

The Fly With A Fighter Pilot experience is undoubtedly and deservedly one of Ex Element's favourites. The dream of every schoolboy can be achieved here in the wonderfully responsive Bulldog. This low-wing monoplane is a military special and is used by 10 different Air-Forces. On this experience you will be flying with an ex-military pilot in a plane that has once been equipped with rockets and machine guns on its underwing hardpoints! The expert instructors will spectacularly demonstrate how to perform a range of aerobatics that are sure to raise an unshiftable grin from ear to ear. The instructors will perform a range of stunts such as loops, aileron rolls, barrell rolls, cuban 8's and many, many more. Then it is your turn, take the controls and play out your child hood fantasies of flying with a fighter pilot!

Agenda

Once you've arrived at the centre and been provided with refreshments it's time to get kitted out in your Top Gun style flying suit. You will then attend a full pre flight briefing which includes all safety/parachute procedures, and how to fly aerobatics. You will then have a quick one-to-one chat with your ex military instructor to discuss just how extreme you want your flight to be (very is the correct answer!). It is now time for your flight! Once in the skies your instructor will go through a range of aerobatic maneuvers, explaining the technique involved to execute each one correctly, before taking the controls and attempting to perform them for yourself! Then it's back to base for a personal debrief with your instructor pilot, including the amount of G pulled and encountered. You will also receive a signed flight certificate. There will be an opportunity to purchase a DVD of your flight for an additional £45.00.

Restrictions
Weight limits: Maximum weight is 17.5 stone
Age Limits: Minimum age is 16
You will be required to complete a medical form before flying and if you are over 55 years of age you will be required to provide a letter from your doctor confirming your suitability to fly.

Duration
The Ultimate Aerobatics Experience will last for 2-3hours in total with around 35 minutes flying time.

What to Wear / Equipment
You will be provided with your flying suit and helmet. Please wear FLAT shoes with decent grip (eg: trainers) and no skirts (girls or boys!).

Group Size / Spectators
You can bring a spectator along who will be looked after during the course of the day. You may even need them to drive you home after you've exhausted your adrenalin and concentration span in the air! Plus, driving will just seem so boring after this!

Weather
The Ultimate Aerobatics experience is weather dependent, it is absolutely necessary that you call the centre before you set off for the day.

Availability
Year round - although there is a greater chance of your flight being weather affected in the winter, in which case it will be re-arranged.
