3 exhilarating laps as a passenger in a Ford Focus

This is your opportunity to experience the exhilarating Formula Ford racing car which is usually the starting point for many famous Formula One drivers. You will whiz past the surroundings of the circuit with reaching top speeds of 100mph, in the 1600 cc, 1.6 litre engine of the formula ford. You will pick up some much needed techniques as you will receive one-on-one tuition in a Ford Focus before becoming more confident around the twists and turns of the track.

Your experience will begin with a detailed safety and techniques briefing which is required in order to start racing. After your briefing in the classroom you will jump into the passenger seat of the Ford Focus and gain a one to one tuition on the track before it’s your turn to put into practice what you have learnt, for 3 exciting laps, driving the Ford Focus. After you feel confident with the track and the methods it is then your chance to experience and drive the single seater racer around the track for 6 thrilling laps on your own. Then you will get back into the Ford Focus for some advanced training, as you have already picked up where the correct lines are and the braking and gear change points are on the track, you will start to feel more confident with the track and the positioning of the car, and then its back into the Formula Ford for your last exhilarating 6 laps. Then its back into the classroom for your presentation of your days driving certificate.
Restrictions
You must hold a full driving licence and be the minimum age of 17, the height restriction are 5’ 1 to maximum of 6’4”and the maximum weight is 17 stone.
Duration
Please allow 3 ½ hours at the venue to complete this experience.
What to Wear / Equipment
Please wear comfortable casual clothing covering arms, legs and trainers for footwear.
Group Size / Spectators
This Experience is suitable for spectators, bring a camera it's well worth it.
Weather
This experience will take place in most weather conditions, but if in doubt please contract the centre before hand.
Availability
This experience is available throughout the year and usually run on Fridays and Saturdays.
