Formula One Experience -

This experience is the realisation of what many people may think is the impossible dream; your chance to drive a Formula One racing car! You will follow in the footsteps of Hamilton, Schumacher, Mansell and Senna as you experience the crème de la crème of motor sport. You will drive an ex-Grand Prix Formula One Tyrell racing car which is prepared to F1 standards. This car produces in excess of 550bhp and is capable of over 200mph ! And with a 0-60 time of less than 3 seconds, is a truly mind-blowing experience! This untouchable two day experience includes an overnight stay in a country hotel for you and a guest, multiple laps in an array of cars that include a hot hatch, a Porsche or Ferrari, a Caterham Super 7, a Van Diemen single-seater and finally the big one; eight laps in the Formula One racing car.

Agenda

Day One: You and your guest will arrive at the country house hotel where you will meet the Formula One team and enjoy a champagne reception. There will be a full briefing from the team who will familiarise you with Formula one and provide details of the following day's activities before enjoying a 4 course Formula One dinner for you and your guest. We recommend that you explore the fantastic grounds and countryside on which the track is situated, and the historic town of Market Bosworth.

Day two: Will start with breakfast at the hotel for you and your guest before being transferred to the race track where you will have a safety briefing over tea and coffee. It is then out on to the track where you will progressively hone your skills under the careful supervision of an experienced Association of Racing Driving Schools (ARDS) instructor with familiarisation laps in the performance training car. The safest racing lines and best driving techniques will be explained. As groups are small, almost continuous assessment is given on your driving skills, improving your performance and experience. You will begin the serious stuff with a Ferrari or Porsche for 5 laps followed by the Caterham Super 7 for 7 laps. You will then be ready for the single seater stuff as you move into the Van Diemen Single Seater for 10 superb driving laps. Finally, it’s the driving experience you will never forget – 8 laps in a race-tuned Formula One car! Imagine 550bhp and a clear track ahead. It is what every racing driver dreams of. Then on top of all of this, you will have a high speed passenger ride with one of the ARDS instructors before lunch is provided for you and your guest. After lunch you will have a debrief and a presentation, including a commemorative photograph & Formula One experience certificate gift pack. You will then be transferred back to your hotel after this truly unforgettable experience. Please note: Total laps include In and Out laps from the pits

Restrictions
Minimum age is 25 and full driving license is required. Drivers shorter than 5'0" or taller than 6'3" and/or weighing more than 17 stone may have difficulty being accommodated.

Duration
This is a two day experience. The driving will last 6-7 hours

What to Wear / Equipment
You should wear comfortable clothing with thin-soled shoes for driving. All safety equipment including racing overalls and helmet is provided by the centre.

Group Size / Spectators
The hotel is booked for the driver plus one. Spectators are welcome on the day and refreshments will be available.
