Goodwood Ferrari Adventure - Chichester

A world class race track, a Ferrari 308, a go-kart and skid pan all rolled into one experience! The Ferrari adventure allows you to get behind the classic Ferrari 308 and open up the 3L V8 engine on one of Europe's fastest circuits. Learn to master the circuit's famous bends as you take on the ultimate test drive. Next up on your adventure day is a whizz around the purpose built go-kart track. Show your skills on tight hair pins and accelerate through the challenging corners. And yet, there is still more! Get to grips with a skid pan control course as you test yourself on a traditional water & oil track to practice your overturn and underturn. The Ferrari Adventure is fantastic blend of the different styles of driving, designed to highlight and hone the skills required for each.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a thorough safety briefing, covering all aspects to be practiced during the day, including: racing lines and the controls of the Ferrari 308, ready for your day on Goodwood's historic motor circuit where you'll be under the watchful eye of one of our instructors for 3 laps of pure exhilaration. Finally your Instructor takes the wheel to give you the ride of your life in an expert hot lap! Next you have the opportunity to race the go-karts wheel to wheel against each other, where you can practice your driving skills with some high energy Karting and competition around sweeping corners and tricky hairpins. You will then move onto slippery oil and water skid pan course where you will jump aboard a rear wheel drive BMW to get to grips with your tyres and steering as you oversteer and understeer throughout the course. Your experience will come to a halt with a debrief, where your instructor will give you feedback from your driving session.

Restrictions
You must have a full UK or European driving license.

Duration
Please arrive 15 mins before the experience is due to start. Please allow approximately half a day for this experience.

What to Wear / Equipment
Please wear comfortable clothes and soft soled shoes. Any other safety equipment will be provided by the centre.

Group Size / Spectators
There isn’t a limit on spectators and they are more than welcome and can help themselves to tea and coffee with the drivers. There is viewing on top of the pits area and in the areas designated and explained by the staff managing the activity.

Weather
This experience is affected by heavy rain and extreme weather conditions such as snow. Should this happen the experience may be postponed and the centre will be rebook you a convenient date.

Availability
Experiences take place on weekdays from April – October.
