Gorge Walking and Abseil - Llangollen

Step into a secret world of a Wild Welsh Gorge, an amazing wilderness where craggy rocks, rushing water and waving ferns combine to create a hidden oasis of beauty just a few miles from the hurly burly of modern day civilization. Abseil down a roaring waterfall, scramble over moss covered rocks and leap in to the icy waters of a crystal clear mountain river. Rejuvenate your senses in the peace and glory of our beautiful Welsh countryside and experience the best we have to offer in the safe hands of our experienced guides.

Agenda

Your half day Gorge walk and abseil begins with a detailed safety briefing and issue of kit. Then its off to tackle the elements conquering rock pools, fern gully's, waterfalls, rivers and getting totally soaked in the process. Under complete supervision from qualified staff you will abseil down a rock face and on into the journey.

Restrictions
You can do this from 8 years onwards. A reasonable level of fitness is required for this activity. Please note that if you buy only one voucher, there will be limited avaiability due to the fact you will need to join another group who are already booked in.

Duration
Sessions are either full morning or afternoons, allowing plenty of time to enjoy the breathtaking scenery as you explore the magical gorge.

What to Wear / Equipment
This activity is fully supervised by our qualified instructors. All safety equipment is supplied. We provide the wetsuits but you may like to add your own bathing suit and thermals in cold weather (not cotton) - and don’t forget your towel!

Most importantly, wear sturdy footwear you don’t mind getting wet, such as training shoes or boots.

Group Size / Spectators
We can accommodate all group sizes, from 1 to 24, although groups of less than 4 will be matched with other clients to make up our minimum group size of 4.

Weather
In certain weather conditions this activity may need to be changed to another at short notice.
