Rally driving has firmly established itself as one of the more desirable forms of motor racing. A fine combination of power, skill and acting quickly, the sport has taken many followers all around the world to some exotic destinations. The speed and power of the cars combined with their immensely responsive handling begs the track to be as challenging as possible. However, the skill is to get around the entire track, and in one piece! This great introduction to the sport of Rally Driving will equip you with some essential skills for pushing these cars and your limits out on the rally track. The cars and tracks have been custom made for the individual schools and are designed to give you the best and most efficient lessons. The tracks consist of fast straights and tight corners or hair pin corners, allowing you and your instructor to really show some spectacular sliding skills!

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a thorough safety briefing covering all driving techniques and aspects of controlling these powerful rally cars. Then to begin your day of driving you will firstly be sitting in the co-drivers seat for a brief demonstration of the techniques and methods covered in the classroom from your instructor. You will then get behind the wheel to show off your skills which you have learnt around the track. You will then receive three practical driving sessions on the safe practice area mastering your skills, before being taken out onto a full loose surface - or ‘rally special stage,’ with the instructor taking you through the circuit from the co-drivers seat.

Alternatively, you can choose to become the co-driver where you will experience your instructor driving you around through the full special stage at authentic rally speeds. Finally to complete your experience, your instructor will give you a full summary of your driving skills from the session along with the presentation of your personalised certificate for your day's achievements.

Lunch is available at a small cost.

Restrictions
Minimum Age: 17
Maximum Height:6ft 6ins
Maximum Weight: 18st
All participants must hold a full driving licence.

Duration
Please allow 4 hours at the venue to complete your experience.

What to Wear / Equipment
Please where comfortable outdoor clothing with thinly soled shoes, such as trainers.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are very welcome and can sit in on the classroom briefing before taking their place in the club house to watch your drive out on the track.

Weather
This experience will go ahead in most weather conditions, but in extreme cases or if you are unsure please contact the centre before setting off.
