The Honda Formula 4-Stroke championship (HF4S) is the largest, most exciting offshore powerboat series in the world. Feel the speed and grace of this highly responsive racing machine as you and your experienced racing driver head into the Solent for a fantastic Powerboat Experience. With the qualified instructor at hand, you may even get a chance to take hold of the controls and have a go at driving (depending on the conditions). The boat operates within Southampton Water and extends into the Solent so bring a disposable camera. The boat is soft riding and the seating comfortable.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your experience begins with a safety briefing and an introduction to the boat. You then get changed into official racing team kit and safety gear. Then it's onto the water. The driver will demonstrate the capabilities of the boat and you may have a go at testing your driving skills, depending on the conditions. The boats have comfortable secure seating and the experience is suitable for all adventure seekers.

Restrictions
Min Age: 12 Years
Min Height: 5',
Max Weight: 17 stone.
Please note this experience is not suitable for those with a serious back or heart complaint or for pregnant women.

Duration
2 hours ( Includes possibility of 20 minutes of hands-on driving and tuition)

What to Wear / Equipment
Please wear jeans or shorts and training or boat shoes. Please also bring a change of clothes- just in case.  We will supply all other necessary equipment e.g. Waterproof jacket, life jacket etc.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome to wave you off from the shore.
