This Husky Riding Experience is for those of you who would like to relax and enjoy the ride, by being driven by an instructor it is all the fun, just without having to control the team of Huskys yourself. You will be riding in a specifically designed two passenger, four wheeled sled made especially for the job and with its mud guards and suspension it makes for a smooth and comfortable ride through the stunning countryside.
Experience Content
On arrival you will be checked in with a warm drink and meet your instructor. Then it is time to meet the dogs and learn a little about Huskys e.g. their history, how to use a harness etc. You will then set off on your big ride, you will be out for approximately 1 and 1/2 hours. On return the Huskys will be put away and watered, then it will be time for your well earned refreshments and the end of the experience.

Duration
The whole experience will last for approximately 2 hours, although the ride itself will be about 1 1/2 hours.
What to Wear / Equipment
You will need to wear warm, comfortable clothing appropriate for the outdoors and time of year.

Weather
As this experience takes place outdoors, it can be affected by extreme weather. If you are in any doubt then please call the centre before heading off.
Availability
This experience runs form October through to March. (Unfortunately we are now fully booked for the 2007/2008 Season) Availability will resume in October 2008.
Restrictions
There is a minimum age of 8 for this experience. Maximum weight is approx 114kg. This experience is not suitable if you have a heart condition, back, spine or neck problem, epilepsy or are pregnant.
