Indoor Bungee Jump - Sheffield

This fantastic indoor bungee experience takes away the light and replaces it with an extra dimension of fear! Standing at 150ft and after a few stairs just climbed, you will take the plunge into the darkness with nothing but the soothing comfort of flashing lights, dry ice and a wall of speakers blasting some pumping dance music! The Magna centre offers many facilities for you to make a day of your adrenaliesed trip!

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a thorough safety briefing covering all aspects of the indoor crane and the jump that you are soon to be completing! Once you have filled in a brief registration membership form you will be weighed twice to ensure that the correct bungee rope is used for your jump. You will then climb the 143 steps to the top of the Abyss before it is time to get into the harness and have the ankle straps attached. The professional staff will perform a number of checks and double checks on all of the equipment to ensure your safety and extend your anticipation that little bit further! Now all you have to do is jump off into the semi darkness which is filled with dry ice and nightclub style lighting. Photos and merchandise are available for you to purchase at the end of the experience.

Restrictions
Minimum Age: 14
Maximum Weight: 120kg
(Under 16s need a parent/guardian's signature)

Over 50s will need a doctor's certificate to jump. You must be in good health and you must make the centre aware of any medical conditions that you think may affect you being able to jump.

You can not bungee jump if you have any of the following: high blood pressure, heart condition, dizziness/epilepsy, pregnancy, asthma or a neurological condition.  Remember: if you are not in good health you should NOT jump, If you suffer from any of the above but have been given a doctors certificate then you will be requested to sign a non standard waiver. Please read it carefully.

Duration
Please arrive 30 minutes before your allotted jump time to ensure that all security checks and briefing can be done. After that the experience will last as long as it takes you to climb to the top and make the jump. After a few heart-stopping seconds you will be gently lowered back to the ground with the most intense adrenaline rush.

What to Wear / Equipment
Glasses and contact lenses MUST be removed prior to your jump. Dress in comfortable, casual clothes that are suitable for the weather conditions. Skirts are not recommended (think about it).

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are encouraged.  There are fantastic viewing points including a platform for photo opportunities. 

Weather
The bungee jump is indoors so is not weather affected.

Various weekend dates at alternating venues once a month throughout the year.
