Introduction to Indoor Skydiving

Customer Rating (2)
  • Try Skydiving - Indoors!
  • 120mph Winds in a Specially Adapted Wind Tunnel
  • Instructors Help You Master Flight Control

Indoor Skydiving is the fantastic new craze that gives you the chance to experience the freefall feeling that can only otherwise be achieved by jumping from a plane! This wonderful yet crazy experience has been utilised by formation divers desperate to practice their technique without having to actually fly each time! The simulator is as close to real skydiving as we can possibly get and is an absolute blast! The wind tunnel used to be used for testing the aerodynamics of F1 cars and is powerful enough to lift you straight to the top of the 20ft tunnel! Straighten your arms and fall into the wind, then let the instructor guide you with hand signals and expert instruction. One movement from your back, legs or arms and you will be whizzing up, down and across the noisy tunnel.

Agenda

Aim to arrive at the centre around 60 minutes before your start time. Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a briefing on how the tunnel works and all necessary instruction regarding freefall and body flying techniques. Then it's time to get into the kit - you will don a flight suit, goggles, helmet and pads. Its then time to enter the tunnel with your instructor for the first of two 2 minute 'flights'. The day will will come to a halt with the presentation of your flight DVD (included in price) to remember your day with.
