Introduction to Wakeboarding (Boat)

Wakeboarding is great fun and being one of the fastest growing Extreme Sports, a MUST do! This experience is a great introduction to the sport; you will be given expert instruction by professionals who will share all sorts of tips and advice to get you up on the board as quickly as possible.

Agenda

Your experience will consist of two 10 - 15 minute 'pulls' - this is most definitely enough as an introduction to the sport and your arms will know about it the next day.
The boat is preferably the best option to wakeboarding as you can ride the real wake created by the boat and the speed and directions can be controlled depending on your abilities.
You will be provided with all the equipments that you need and have an instructor on hand to make sure you get the most from your sessions and progress as fast as possible.

Restrictions
Minimum Age: 6 at Scotland and Manchester centres
                           8 (in the other locations)

Under 14's must be accompanied by a parent/guardian)
You must be comfortable in the water and be able to swim.
This sport is not suitable for pregnant women.

Duration
Your experience will take anything up to three hours, it is best to leave a good amount of time between pulls.

What to Wear / Equipment
All equipment such as board, wetsuit and buoyancy aid will be provided. You should take your swim suit and towel; feel free to take your own wetsuit if you own one.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome at most facilities and refreshments will be available, please confirm when booking. Max of 4 people to a group

Weather
Weather does not usually affect Wake boarding, please call the centre if you have any doubts.

Availability
Most facilities operate very limited schedules in the winter, with the main season running from April to November; please call us if you need further information regarding this. Rochdale closes at the end of October.
