Introduction to Windsurfing & Sailing

This great introduction to dinghy sailing and windsurfing will show you the basics of each sport and equip you with the skill to take it much further. Once the basic skills have been learnt you are free to practice, practice, practice and get yourself involved in an excellent outdoor activity! The feeling of standing up for the first time (windsurfing) or gaining some speed on a dinghy is surprisingly rewarding, and most definitely moreish! This intro will show you the basics for getting started and provide you with some useful skills to go forward and obtain your level 1 status!

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a safety briefing covering the water and the two experiences you will be trying. All of the equipment is provided so all you need to do is turn up and get ready for some fun whilst you learn two great watersport activities! You will not be ready to hire boats or boards after this, but you will be suitably ready to begin your Level 1 course.

Duration
Introduction to Windsurfing & Sailing will last for around 3 hours in total.

What to Wear / Equipment
Any clothing that you don't mind getting wet. Please dress accordingly with the weather and bring sunglasses / suncream in the summer. Wetsuit is provided. Bring a towel for a shower afterwards!

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome.
