The principles of Land Yachting are hundreds, even thousands, of years old with man using the wind to travel across land in the same way that we do on the seas. Land Yachting in its modern form is around 100 years old and originates from France; it is a fantastic adventure sport of sailing across beaches or any other large open area where there is wind!
