Learn to Ski in a Day on Snow - Milton Keynes

This is a fantastic full day course that is your chance to learn how to Ski! The course is held at one of our three Snow Domes in the UK - you will learn how to ski on real snow. Included in the price of the course is a full days worth of skiing tuition by a professionally qualified instructor, clothing hire and a days parking permit.. This is fantastic course which is the perfect preparation to a skiing holiday or is just a great day during which you will learn a new and exciting sport.

Agenda

You will arrive at the centre and collect your parking permit for the day. You will then head off to get kitted up for the day with your clothing, skis, boots and poles. It is now time to hit the slope! Over the course of the day you will cover a huge amount, this includes: Intro to equipment, slope safety, stance & balance, basic movement, straight running in snow plough and an intro to left and right snow plough turns. When you're slope ready, and improving your techniques, it'll be time to carve up the main slope (depending on ability). Starting in the middle and working your way to the top via the button lift. You will have a chance for tea and coffee breaks throughout the day.

Restrictions
No previous experience is required. A reasonable level of fitness is required, if you have a medical condition that you think may affect your ability to do the course please check with us before booking. Min age is 16yrs old in Milton Keynes and anyone under 18yrs must be accompanied by an adult. Min Age is 17 yrs in Tamworth.

Duration
This is a full day experience that will last around seven hours in Milton Keynes and eight hours in Tamworth (inc breaks).

What to Wear / Equipment
All equipment and specialist clothing is supplied by the centre. You should wear comfortable loose fitting clothing and warm layers. Waterproofs are recomended and long sleeves are essential. Gloves are available for purchase only on the day (£10) due to hygiene reasons.

Group Size / Spectators
In Milton Keynes there will be a maximum of ten people in the group.
In Tamworth there will be a maximum of eight people per instructor
