Luxury 3 Night Surfers Break -

This is a fantastic long weekend break in Cornwall which has been the home of British surfing since the 1960s. With its world class Atlantic coastline and waves of all sizes year round, striking sunsets and long, sandy beaches Cornwall has fantastic beaches and surf for learning and progressing. With an average annual temperature of 14 degrees Celsius, you will experience some of the best surfing in Europe.

A trip to Cornwall is ideal for surfers of all abilities from first-timers to professionals. It is perfect for those wishing to enjoy great waves under expert guidance our team. You will be guided to and from the best beaches and coached by a fully qualified British Surfing Association instructor who guarantees to have beginners up and riding by the end of their stay and progressively pushing the boundaries of their surfing capabilities.

To top it off you will be staying in a gorgeous contemporary barn conversion where you can relax after a hard day on the water and which is 5 minutes away from the local town which has great restaurants and character pubs.

Agenda

Your weekend will start by being greeted on Friday afternoon at either Newquay Airport or Penzance Railway or Bus stations and being transferred to your accommodation - a contemporary barn conversion in a secluded hamlet just 5 minutes walk from the picture-postcard village of Mousehole. There are a number of fabulous restaurants, pubs and a quaint harbour - all within walking distance of the accommodation for you to explore on Friday evening.

Your day will start on Saturday with a leisurely, self-service breakfast where you can feast on muffins, toast, bagels and organic muesli with lashings of freshly squeezed juice and Fairtrade tea and coffee. At approximately 10am you will be picked up and taken to the beach by your dedicated surf instructor who will have already checked which beach has the best conditions. Onboard he or she will have your boards and suits [although guests are more than welcome to bring their own equipment should they wish].

At the beach safe storage will be provided for your property, and you will receive two hours coaching before having a break to have lunch and chill out before having another two hours coaching. Travelling to and from the beaches takes you through the varied landscapes of Cornwall from the rugged, rural beauty of Zennor to the dramatic cliff drops around Sennen and Lands End. Saturday evening is yours to chill out at the barn or again check out the local pubs and restaurants. Sundays' schedule will follow the same as Saturdays' although for those who are interested in seeing more of Cornwall the centre can also organise excursions to sites of interest such as Tintagel (legendary home of King Arthur), The Eden Project, St Michael's Mount, Geevor Tin Mine, St Ives including a visit to Tate St Ives, Lands End, lunch at Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant in Newquay (subject to availability), lunch at Rick Stein's restaurant in Padstow (subject to availability).

Your break will finish with checking out at 10am on Monday and being transferred back to your transport link when you will no doubt already be thinking about when you can come back!!

Duration
Your weekend will start with being picked up from either Newquay Airport or Penzance Railway or Bus stations at around 4pm on Friday and being transferred back at around 10am on Monday.

What to Wear / Equipment
All surf equipment will be provided by the centre, please feel free to bring your own if you have it.

Weather
Surfing is a weather dependent sport but the centre will always endeavour to take you to a beach where the conditions are suitable for your ability.
