Mitsubishi Evolution VIII Thrill

The Mitsubishi Evolution 8 burst onto our roads in 2003 and was an instant hit with enthusiasts and speed demons alike. The body kit and modern styling set the 275bhp rally car streets ahead of the previous seven attempts by Mitsubishi. The 2.0L turbo charged engine thrusts the aluminum car from 0-60mph in an astonishing 3.5 seconds and can hit top speeds of around 170mph. The Evo is also slightly less common than it's closest rival the Subaru Impreza, making this Japanese import all the more intriguing!

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a thorough safety briefing covering all of the circuit techniques and driving aspects of the Mitsubishi Evo 8. After the briefing it’s time to get ready to drive! You will drive six laps on the oval track as your qualified instructor advises from the passenger seat to optimise your experience and improve your driving skills. After six laps in the Japanese monster you'll head back to the centre for a debrief and to receive your personalised certificate & driver analysis form.

Restrictions
You must have a full manual driving licence, be under 6'6" and weigh less than 18 1/2 stone.

Duration
Please allow approximately 1 hour at the venue for the Evo Thrill Experience.

What to Wear / Equipment
Please wear comfortable clothing and trainers.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome and are encouraged to attend, there is even a free 4x4 off-road experience for spectators.
Extra drives and passenger rides are available on the day subject to availability.

Weather
This experience will cease to operate in extreme weather conditions, if unsure please contact the centre on the day.

Availability
Courses start in the afternoon on selected Saturdays and some weekdays from February to December.
