Nissan GTR v Lotus Exige -

The GT-R can reach a top speed of 195 mph and it has been tested to achieve 0-60 mph times as low as 3.2 seconds. On standard Japanese market tires, the GT-R is currently one of the fastest production cars to lap the Nürburgring circuit, The GT-R currently holds a lap time of 1:19.7 around the Top Gear Test Track, which is the 8th fastest time (equal with the Ferrari F430 Scuderia). Several automotive journalists have compared the GT-R to the Bugatti Veyron. The lotus Exige is one of the most stylish British cars around, this is your chance to take this amazing sports car to the track, you will experience the rear- mid engine with rear wheel drive, allowing to get the most out of the track following the twists and turns. The Lotus Exige will make you want to push the cars to its limits. A famous British sportscar, the astonishing Lotus Exige will astound you with its kart like handling and agility on the track. Apart from the fact it's a great introduction to any Supercar Experience, the Exige is actually quicker through bends than some of the fastest Ferrari's!

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a thorough safety briefing covering all aspects of the circuit, Nissan GT-R and the Lotus that you are to drive on this superb track day. Once briefed you'll be ready to begin the day's driving with a 3 lap demo with the instructor driving in the performance training car. Once the theory has been learnt, your day's driving will begin and you shall drive 4 laps in each of these magnificent supercars! This great track day will slow to a halt with the presentation of your personalised driving certificate.

Restrictions
You must have a full UK or European driving license with no serious offences. You must be able to drive a manual transmission. Drivers shorter than 5'0" or taller than 6'6" and/or weighing more than 17 stone may have difficulty being accommodated.

Duration
Please allow 2 hours at the venue.

What to Wear / Equipment
You should wear comfortable clothing with thin-soled shoes for driving. All safety equipment is provided by the centre

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome, although there is a strict 'No Pets Allowed' rule.

Weather
This experience will only be affected by extreme weather conditions; if in doubt please check with the centre before setting off.

Availability
Courses start at a range of times on selected Saturdays and weekdays throughout the year. Extra driving laps & passenger rides can be purchased on the day.
