The Nissan GT-R can reach a top speed of 195 mph and it has been tested to achieve 0-60 mph times as low as 3.2 seconds. On standard Japanese market tires, the GT-R is currently one of the fastest production cars to lap the Nürburgring circuit, The GT-R currently holds a lap time of 1:19.7 around the Top Gear Test Track, which is the 8th fastest time (equal with the Ferrari F430 Scuderia). Several automotive journalists have compared the GT-R to the Bugatti Veyron. The original Porsche GT3 RS had a production run from 2003 to 2005. The "RS" Moniker, and the characteristic blue or red wheels and "GT3 RS" side stickers link the GT3 RS to historically important Porsches such as the Carrera 2.7 RS of the early 1970s. Automobile magazines claim the GT3 RS can accelerate from 0-60 mph in about 4.3 seconds and have a top speed of around 190 mph using the 996 GT3's 380 hp engine.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a thorough safety briefing covering all aspects of the circuit, Nissan and Porsche GT3 RS that you are to drive on this incredible track day. Once briefed you'll be ready to begin the day's driving with a 3 lap demo with the instructor driving in the performance training car. Once the theory has been learnt, your day's driving will begin with 4 laps in the Nissan followed by a further 4 laps in the Porsche. This great track day will slow to a halt with the presentation of your personalised driving certificate.

Restrictions
You must have a full UK or European driving license with no serious offences. You must be able to drive a manual transmission. Drivers shorter than 5'0" or taller than 6'6" and/or weighing more than 17 stone may have difficulty being accommodated.

Duration
Please allow 2 hours at the venue.

What to Wear / Equipment
You should wear comfortable clothing with thin-soled shoes for driving. All safety equipment is provided by the centre

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome, although there is a strict 'No Pets Allowed' rule.

Weather
This experience will only be affected by extreme weather conditions; if in doubt please check with the centre before setting off.

Availability
Courses start at a range of times on selected Saturdays and weekdays throughout the year. Extra driving laps & passenger rides can be purchased on the day.
