One-to-One Indoor Surfing - Gower

Are you preparing for a surfing holiday or just curious of taking up a new extreme sport? This experience gives you the opportunity to discover a brand new way of developing your surfing skills. Learn to master indoor wave riding with a qualified SurfGSD instructor using a surf machine with four water turbines creating an extraordinary standing wave to surf on. This completely unique experience will aid you in improving core stability and balance as well as improving your consistency when attempting to stand on a board.

Agenda

As you arrive at the centre you will sign in before being introduced to your instructor and getting changed into your wetsuit and gath helmet. To start off you take part in a warm up where you will be advised on good ways to fall so if you do wipeout  you do not injure yourself throughout the session. It is then time to move onto the surf machine for a session including advice about body positioning, body posture which will in turn build your confidence enabling you to stand up effectively. The session will also help you build up your core stability and leg strength. After your session you are free to relax in the water park which provides slides, a wave pool or a lazy river to lie back in and chill out.

Restrictions
Minimum age of 6 years old. You will need to be a competent swimmer with a reasonable level of fitness.1.1 meters is the minimum height

This experience will last for approximately 1 hour

What to Wear / Equipment
All equipment will be provided by the centre. It is recommended that you bring along a swimming costume and towel as you will be in water.

Availability
The centre is open from 16.00 non school holidays and is open late. School holidays it is open 11 - 21.00. Bookings all year round.
