Demo with ARDS Instructor in Performance Training Car
The Porsche 997 is the project code name for the current version of the world’s longest running and most popular supercar, the 911. The 997 is the most commercially successful model of the 911, and it is not hard to understand why. For over 40 years now Porsche have producing the fantastically desirable sports car, with each model more impressive and more exciting than the last. The 3.6L engine produces around 350bhp and a top speed of 200mph (pre-limited.) The superb German supercar will also hit 60mph from standstill in an astonishing 3.6 seconds. The Porsche 997 is considered by many as the finest supercar in the world, due to its longevity in the motor world and its mixture of luxury with superb drive quality.

Agenda
Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a thorough safety briefing covering all aspects of the track and the wonderful Porsche 997. Once briefed, you’ll be ready for demo 3 laps with your ARDS instructor in the performance training car. After this demo you will be ready for the main event, 4 laps in the amazing Porsche 997. This superb supercar will be yours for 4 laps of the Prestwold Hall circuit with the instructor at your side. The day’s driving will come to a halt with the presentation of your personalised driving certificate.
Restrictions
You must have a full UK or European driving license with no serious offences. You must be able to drive a manual transmission. Drivers shorter than 5'0" or taller than 6'6" and/or weighing more than 17 stone may have difficulty being accommodated. At Oxford and Yorkshire the minimum spectator age is 11 years old
Duration
Your experience will last for approximately 45 mins.
What to Wear / Equipment
You should wear comfortable clothing with thin-soled shoes for driving. All safety equipment is provided by the centre
Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome, however there is a strictly 'No Pets Allowed' rule.
Weather
This experience will only be affected by extreme weather conditions; if in doubt please check with centre before setting off.
Availability
Courses start on selected Saturdays and weekdays throughout the year. Extra driving laps & passenger rides can be purchased on the day. Oxford and Yorkshire activities take place midweek and occasional Saturdays March to December
