Being able to control a skid or power slide can be one of the most exciting parts of driving and with this great skid pan experience you will be able to learn these unique skills in a controlled environment. You will learn how control the vehicle in the event of a skid and what it is like to hit black ice at 40mph but keep control of the car! The skills learnt in the experience are both a lot of fun to learn and very useful in improving your driving technique and coping with the worst of the Great British weather! With a highly qualified instructor in the passenger seat, you will pick up the skills fats and leave with a much better handle on car control. ime!

Agenda

Your skid pan driving experience will begin with a welcome and a short safety briefing covering all aspects of car handling and skid control. You will start behind the wheel with a 90min one-to-one lesson with the instructor at your side offering expert advice to improve your skills as you encounter various simulated road conditions on the skid pan. You will be using the principles of over and under steer here, as well as ABS and how 'defensive driving' aids the avoidance of particular incidents.

Restrictions
All participants must have a full manual driving license and must sign a health declaration on arrival.

Duration
This experience will last for approx 90 minutes, with the full time spent driving on a one-to-one basis.

What to Wear / Equipment
Comfortable clothing and footwear with good grip is recommended. All other necessary equipment is provided.


Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome but there are no facilities for spectators at the skid pan area.

Weather
Sessions take place in almost all weather conditions, however, extreme conditions may cause the experience to be postponed.
