Quad Bike, 4x4 Driving and Apache Rally Experience -

This is a great day half day where you will experience the thrills of three separate off road activities. First up is the Quad Bikes, you will encounter mud, jumps and climbs as you get the chance to explore over 70 acres of woodland and fields. Then you will take a 4 x 4 off road vehicle for a spin around a demanding course of steep slopes and woodland tracks, with plenty of trees to avoid! Last up is The Apache Off Road Racer - these awesome machines are light weight 'buggies' with 750cc motor cycle engines and a six speed gear box, this recipe creates a vehicle that has a power to weight ratio to match most Ferraris! You drive them on a grass track with normal road going tyres which creates huge amounts of sideways fun. The Apaches are two seaters and you will have an instructor by your side to make sure you get maximum enjoyment and performance from them. All in all a fantastic half day.
Experience Content
After arriving for tea and coffee, you start with a session of theory, demonstration and insight into the capabilities of the quad bikes. You will then undertake a highly enjoyable period of ability and safety assessment before jumping on your own quad bike to explore the extensive grounds. When it is time for the 4x4 an instructor will be around to show you how it’s done and then it’s your turn to take the wheel! (A maximum of 3 people will share the 4x4 vehicle). You will also have an instructor with you inside the Apache off road rally car.

Duration
Please allow 3 to 3.5 hours for this experience. Please aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before your experience is due to start.Note price is per person.
What to Wear / Equipment
Crash helmets and safety goggles will be provided. Wear casual clothes and shoes that you won’t mind getting muddy. In wet weather, a change of clothes is advisable. Waterproofs will be provided if required.

Unfortunately due to the nature of the activity, we do not advise spectators attend.
Weather
Should it be necessary to cancel the activity due to bad weather the centre will arrange an alternative date with you.
Availability
This experience is available on weekends throughout the year.
Restrictions
Minimum age 18 years. Maximum weight is 20 stone. If you are extraordinarily tall or short, or feel that your physique may impair your enjoyment of this activity in any way, please check with the centre when booking. Full UK Driving License Required.
