Silverstone 4x4 Extreme Experience - Silverstone

Silverstone is delighted to introduce the new 4x4 Extreme experience, the only Silverstone experience where you can take up to 2 of your friends and family along for the ride! There are very few vehicles on earth to match the extraordinary power  and agility of the Defender; it will do whatever you ask of it - and more. Silverstone's challenging purpose-built off-road course combines steep gradients, big drops and deep water, demanding your full attention as you navigate a tricky obstacle course. It may be slower than walking pace at times, but precision handling and rock solid nerves are definitely required. You will be driving the legendary Land Rover Defender with a 2.7L engine and 150bhp.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a safety briefing covering all safety aspects of driving the Defender across this challenging course. You will then take part in a 20 minute in-car safety briefing + demo lap by an instructor to show you what these machines can really do. Then it is your turn with roughly 20 minutes driving time on the purpose built off-road course. To finish your day you will have a 10 minute debrief of the activity and your driving skills.

Restrictions
Height: 5'2" - 6'7" Maximum weight: 18st Maximum Age is 70yrs Full driving licence must have been held for at least 1 year. Driver must hold a full Manual Licence – International Licences which have been held for the correct amount of years and that are presented on the day will be accepted.
The 2 passengers must be between 10 and 70 years old. Minimum height 4'5"

Duration
Please allow 1 hour at the centre.

What to Wear / Equipment
The centre will provide all equipment needed but please wear long sleeved tops and trousers with thinly soled shoes for driving.

Group Size / Spectators
You may take a maximum of 2 people in the 4x4 with you on the day; other spectators are not recommended due to limited visibility.
