Single Advanced Snowboard Lesson on Snow

Get to grips with one of our three indoor real snow slopes and get a lesson for the more advanced snowboarders. This is an excellent chance to either touch up before a snowboarding holiday or refine techniques you know already. If your snowboarding ability has reached the minimum unsupervised requirements, our advanced lesson with a professional instructor will accomodate and suit perfectly. This is also your chance to get high quality, real snow to give the closest experience to the real thing.

Agenda

You will arrive at the centre and check in at the main desk for your booked time. you will then head to the chaging rooms to get ready. The centre will provide all equipment except gloves (can be purchased for £10 on site). However, you are able bring your own gear if you want to. You can cover Level 5 or Level 6 in your 1 hour lesson;

Level 5 - Anyone who meets minimum standards that can link turns from the top of our main slope – i.e. completed our level 4
Aim; To improve your skills, build confidence and ability and show you how to link your turns smoothly
What happens? Your qualified instructor will review progress and show you ways of improving your technique. You will work on linking your turns more smoothly, with more accuracy and building confidence along the way. Your instructor will help you correct any mistakes and work on your riding.
 
Level 6 - Anyone who can comfortably and smoothly link turns from the top of our main slope -i.e. completed our level 5
Aim; By now you should be linking your turns smoothly. Our qualified instructors will show you how to change the size of your turn enabling you to go exactly where you want on the slope. Your instructor will show you how to get the most from your snowboarding and take you to the next level! This lesson is ideal for preparing you for more advanced snowboarding tecnhniques such as freestyle and carving.

You will then return any hired gear to the centre.

Restrictions
Minimum age is 16. Please advise of any medical conditions upon booking that may impair your lesson/ skiing. Please note that gloves are not included in the price.

Duration
The lesson will last for 1 hour. Expect to be at the centre for 1 1/2 hours.

What to Wear / Equipment
All equipment will be provided except gloves which can be purchased on site for £10. It is recommended that you wear waterproofs and long sleeves.

Group Size / Spectators
There is a maximum group size of 10 per instructor.
