Skid Pan / Car Control Experience

Ever had that initial adrenaline rush and then complete fear when you lose the back end of the car as it slides out of control? What about the overwhelming satisfaction of taking command of your vehicle and steering your way out of trouble? Well, this experience unleashes the thrill of skidding and sliding, whilst filling you with the knowledge and confidence to make you a better driver. It's one of the most enjoyable learning experiences you'll ever have in a car, next to having your first driving lesson.

Agenda

After a welcome you will be given an introduction to the various types of skid situations by your instructor. You will learn how to anticipate skid conditions and more importantly, how to get out of them. After some demonstrations from your instructor you and the other members of your group will take it in turns recovering and avoiding skids - so there will be a lot of tyre smoking action going on! There is no use of a skid simulator on our cars, as the centres do not believe that it gives you a true experience or representation of losing and regaining car control. This is a great course if you simply want to have some fun whilst developing advanced driving skills.

Minimum age is 16 years old

Duration
This course is half a day (either am or pm)

What to Wear / Equipment
Comfortable clothes are recommended, Jeans, jumpers and soft soled shoes are ideal.
