Snowboard Fast Track Lesson for Juniors -

This is a great intro session to snowboarding that will really get the kids off to the right start in the sport. The course is held at one of our three Snow Domes in the UK - where the kids will learn to snowboard on real snow. They will receive two hours of expert instruction by a fully qualified snowboarding instructor and to top it all off the course also includes clothing hire, a meal and drink, gloves (to keep) and a photo as a reminder of the day (photo available at Milton Keynes only). This is a great introductory session that is a great investment ahead of a first boarding holiday or a really fun school holiday activity.
Experience Content
Upon arrival at the centre the kids are introduced to their instructor and are kitted up for the session with clothing and board / boots etc. They will then hit the slope! Over the course of the two hours the instructor will introduce them to the sport of snowboarding in a fun and relaxed learning environment, they will earn as much as possible of the following:
* Intro to board, slope, safety, stance & balance, toe edge pressure and diagonal movement.
* Intro to heel edge, heel edge diagonal movement.
* Intro to foot steering and basic turns.
At the end of the session they will return the hire gear and go off for the complimentary meal and drink.

Duration
The lesson will last for two hours, expect to be at the centre for around three hours in total.
What to Wear / Equipment
All equipment and specialist clothing is supplied by the centre. They should wear comfortable loose fitting clothing and warm layers.

There will be a maximum of seven kids per instructor.

This course is available all year round
Restrictions
Available to kids age 11 - 15, no previous experience is required. If the child has a medical condition that you think may affect their ability to do the course please check with us before booking.
