Supercar Experience - Stafford

This terrific driving day gives you the opportunity to test for yourself a number of the finest supercars from across Europe. You will don your helmet and become a judge for a day, testing one of the finest Rally cars against two of the greatest supercars ever. With its immense power and superb all wheel drive handling, the monstrous Subaru Impreza STI has seen the likes of rally star Travis Pastrana compete in and dominate the 2006 and 2007 rally seasons. Comparing this Japanese power-house against the supercars will begin when you get behind the wheel of the Ferrari 360 Spider. With a refined engine baosting 3.6L V8 under the bonnet, this prancing horse produces 400bhp and will shift 0-100kmh in 4.4 seconds. Representing Britain for your day of comparison is the Lotus Elise. Created in 1994, the Lotus Elise has been celebrated for excellent handling and its lightweight chassis & racing characteristics. Continuing this fabulous day of driving, you will move onto Germany’s ubiquitous Porsche 911 Carrera. The 911 has reinvented itself with face-lifts and engineering improvements over the last 44 years, establishing itself as the world’s most successful supercar.

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a thorough safety briefing covering all aspects of the track and controlling these 4 powerful cars. The first driving experience will start with six laps in the electrifying Ferrari 360 Spider before another six laps in Germany's Porsche 911 Carrera. Following the experiences in the Ferrari and Porsche, it's time to cross the threshold into the speedy and stylish Lotus Elise for another six racing laps around the track. To finish your session you will drive a further six laps in the influential Rally car, the Subaru Impreza STi. On this wonderful day you will have the chance to test and judge for yourself  which of these motor world greats is the best. Accompanying your driving comparison on this terrific track day will be a high speed passenger ride and the presentation of your personalised driving certificate which will finish the day.

Restrictions
You must have a full manual driving licence, be under 6'6" and weigh less than 18.5 stone.

Duration
Please allow approximately 4 hours at the venue for the Supercar Experience.

What to Wear / Equipment
Please wear comfortable clothing and trainers.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are encouraged to attend. Extra drives and passenger rides are available on the day subject to availability.

Weather
This experience will cease to operate in extreme weather conditions, if unsure please contact the centre on the day.

Availability
Courses start at 9am and 1pm on selected Saturdays and some weekdays from February to December.
