The old ones are sometimes still the best. And that is definitely the case with this classic extreme experience. The experience of leaping from a plane at a height of 10,000 - 12,000ft is one that will you will never, ever forget. The nerve tingling plane ride is all part of the experience and then your time has come! Securely strapped to your instructor you exit the plane and dive through an exhilarating and extraordinary 30 seconds of free-fall reaching speeds of approximately 120 miles per hour before, at about 5,000ft, your parachute is deployed and you can enjoy the gentle float back to earth.
Experience Content
This experience starts with a 30 minute ground briefing which covers the equipment, exiting the aircraft, freefall and landing. After this you'll be taken up in the plane and securely harnessed to an instructor who will take care of everything allowing you to check out the view, feel the rush of air and savour the immense adrenaline rush of freefall without the responsibility. There are professional cameramen available to capture the moment. A video and 35mm stills are available for you to remember your day with, ask for details when you arrive.

Duration
The time of your jump will depend on weather and the number of jumpers attending the course. Expect to be at the dropzone for much of the day.
What to Wear / Equipment
All specialist equipment such as helmet, goggles and jumpsuit will be provided. If it’s a cold day wrap up warm but not too bulky as you will wear the jumpsuit over your clothes. On a hot day a t-shirt and trousers/shorts are ample. Trainers are recommended, do not wear any open shoes such as sandals.

Spectators are welcome and facilities such as refreshments & toilets will be available at the centre.
Weather
Skydiving is weather dependant. Please call the centre before you leave on the morning of your jump to check weather conditions are suitable.
Availability
This Drop Zone is only operating on weekends due to aircraft availability.
Restrictions
Age restrictions: Min age is 16 (16 and 17 year olds will need written consent from parent or guardian)
Weight Limit: Max Weight limit is 15 stone (men) and 13st (Women). Please contact us for further information.
On the day of the jump all skydivers will be required to complete the British Parachute Association Student Parachutist Declaration of Fitness. If you are over 40, or have a medical condition that may affect your ability to freefall or parachute safely you will require a doctor’s certificate to be completed in advance. If the skydiver is aged 16 or 17 you will need a parent or guardian to sign both a medical form and consent form.
Goggles fit comfortably over your glasses, and contact lenses are no problem.
