This fantastic experience allows you to get a real taste of military action in one of the most impressive vehicles ever built. This awesome machine is virtually indestructible whilst its sheer size combined with its power is frightening. This experience puts you in total control of a vehicle that changed the face and shape of war.

Agenda

Your day will begin with a vital briefing concerning the instructions on how to drive 17 tonnes of hardened steel. Then if you have managed to contain your excitement long enough you will be let loose to attempt tackling the steep obstacle course. Feeling confident? Well next you will have to try it with all doors and hatches closed seeing only through your periscopes! You will take full control of this amazing machine and be in charge of where, what, why and how the tank moves over the purposely difficult terrain.

Restrictions
Drivers Minimum Age: 16
Passengers Minimum Age: 8
Maximum Weight:22 Stone
Maximum Height: 6' 4"

Duration
This experience will last for 45minutes, with one-to-one tuition.
You will drive the tank for 3 laps, taking approximately 20-25 minutes (depending on how fast you drive).
Please arrive 15 minutes before you are due to start.

What to Wear / Equipment
Please wear casual clothes and trainers that you don’t mind getting dirty. It is also advisable to bring a change of clothes

Group Size / Spectators
You may bring up to 4 passengers to ride in the tank with you, at a fee of £10 per person to be paid to the centre on the day of the experience.
Spectators are welcome but there is a strict no pets rule.

This experience can be affected by extreme weather conditions. If in doubt, please contact the centre. Contact details will be provided once booking has been completed.

Availability
The experience is available for the general public from 9am - 6pm on Sundays & Wednesdays during the months of April-October.
The experience is available for corporate use from 9am - 6pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays during the months of April - October.
