Middlesbrough's iconic Transporter Bridge is the setting, and what a setting it is! Made famous from the final series of the BBC's 'Auf Vidersien Pet', this jump is the one that the thrill seekers have been waiting for! The wonderfully crafted Transporter Bridge was built in 1911 and is one of only three bridge bungees operating in the World today. The view afforded from way up there mixed with the sheer height make this a 'must-do' for all bungee lovers or thrill seekers. Once you've made it to the top of the UK's only Bridge Bungee and taken in all of the fabulous view, it's time to jump! Thumbs up, look forward and go! When you arrive at the site please make your way to the registration desk, which will be on the bungee trailer. If it is raining it may be inside the trailer or tent. Once you have been welcomed you will be required to complete a Transporter Bridge membership form. You will then be weighed twice, ensuring that the correct bungee rope is used for your jump. Then, its time to climb! 210 steps await you en route to the top of the bridge. Once you have finally reached the top it is time for you to get harnessed and strapped in by the ankles! The professional instructors are uber-safety-conscious and perform extensive safety checks, further extending your anticipation of what's about to come! Now the easy bit, the jumping off! Waiting 170ft directly below you is the River Tees, where a speed boat will come and whisk you away after you've finished bouncing and bobbing and come to a halt. There will be a personalized DVD and merchandise available on the day for you to buy and remember your unforgettable experience with.

I loved every second of the jump, cant wait to do it again. The staff are great and made me forget my nerves about throwing myself off a bridge!

Very very good, such a rush would do it again and again. My only problem with the whole experience is it was quite difficult to book.

it was amazing! i thought i would be really scared... and it was scary, but as soon as i jumped i forgot all of that! it was brilliant.

Staff, atmosphere, instruction and the day in general was excellent. The whole group had a fantastic experience. .... just one small thing ..... it would be nice if you could find a more picturesque jumping spot as a second option. Maybe in the countryside somewhere :D

Had a fantastic time, the four of us that jumped absolutely loved it. My best jump so far, but always room for improvement, aiming higher for next time. Definitely worth the 350 mile trip!
