Mountain Boarding, also known as ATB (all terrain boarding) has been rapidly increasing in popularity in the UK over the past few years. A cross between a skateboard and a snowboard; mountain boards are designed to be used on rough terrain, grass and dirt slopes. The sport combines the carving and freestyle aspects of snowboarding and surfing with the downhill racing and trail aspects of mountain biking, whilst riding an oversized skateboard.

Once the basics have been learnt the possibilities are endless as the oversized wheels are capable of scrambling across pretty much anything. Similar to a snowboard, the bindings allow for huge leaps and ramps to be conquered with ease, if you dare that is!
