Extreme Adventure Tubing

Attack the white water in specifically designed 'tubes' created from old car or tractor tyres. As you battle the currents down the infamous River Tummel the tyre will help you stay on top of the water and with extra padding will enable you to take hits from rocks turning the white water into a low-impact dodgem ride.

Agenda

This experience will begin will a safety briefing and an introduction to the tube. You will gain the basic skills that will equip you with the ability to run rapids, catch eddies and surf standing waves. Then its time to navigate your way down the gorge avoiding rocks and tackling the rapids whilst staying in control. This experience is not for the faint hearted and will keep your adrenalin pumping from the beginning to the end of this intense river. Calling all hard core river riders; this is the ride for you. Minimum Age: 16
Maximum Weight: 16 stone
Under 18's must have a parental consent (form)

Duration
Please allow approximately 3 and a half hours for this experience.

What to Wear / Equipment
Please bring along your swimming costume and a towel as you will be getting in the water.
The centre will provide all necessary equipment to take part in this experience.
Please bring warm clothing to change into after the experience.

Group Size / Spectators
There will be a maximum of 15 people in a group.

Weather
This experience will only be cancelled in the event of extreme weather conditions such as snow or ice.
