Full Day Beginners Rally Driving

Discover the basic principles to rally driving as you learn how to control the rear-wheeled RS2000. Teaming the incredible handling with the intense tuition from your qualified instructor, you'll be tackling the tight hairpin bends and high-speed straights in no time! Rev your engine and watch the grit fly as you practice the impressive manoeuvres from power-slides to handbrake turns. Turn your attention to the perfect racing lines whilst you push your skills to the limit for the timed lap!

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your experience will begin with a full safety briefing before an introduction to rally driving. Your qualified instructor will run you through and demonstrate the techniques required to drive this incredible car around the track! Jump in the driver’s seat and practice the skills shown, including steering, braking, throttle control, car positioning, power slides and hand brake turns. You will then break for lunch, and when you return the heats begin! You will be awarded points for car control, balance, reaction times and overall ability, as well as timed laps to determine the driver of the day! Once you have completed the heats your instructor will take each participant on a white knuckle passenger ride! Your experience will draw to a close with a de-brief about the skills you have learnt before your tutor announces the 'Top Driver'!. Each Driver will receive a rally certificate on completion of the course.

Restrictions
Minimum Age: 17
All participants must have a Full UK Driving License.

Duration
This is a full day experience, please allow up to 6.5 hours at the centre.

What to Wear / Equipment
On the day long sleeves, long trousers together with trainers should be worn. Crash helmets are provided, we have a full range of sizes to ensure each driver has a properly fitted helmet.
It is compulsory for drivers taking part in hot rides to be wearing a helmet at all times.

Group Size / Spectators
There will be a maximum of 5 pupils per car allowing individual tuition and plenty of 'hands on driving time'.

Spectators are welcome, however there is a £10 fee per person and will be required to sign a declaration of indemnity.

Weather
This experience can be affected by extreme weather conditions. If in doubt, please contact the centre on the day to make sure it is going ahead.
