Explore the adrenaline rush as you and two friends ( Make an Enquiry for larger group sizes) jump into plunge pools and climb over these amazing natural playgrounds. Be taught the basic skills of this fantastic sport by a qualified instructor and work together with the rest of the team to really enjoy this thrilling experience.

Agenda

Once you have all arrived and been welcomed to the centre your experience will begin with a safety briefing where you will be issued your safety equipment. You will then need to travel to the venue (Afon Ddu) which is approximately 15 minutes drive from the centre (transport is not provided unless otherwise arranged). Now to start your adventure. You will travel up the river, whilst facing various natural challenges along the way from plunge pools, squeezes, climbing and many more! This half-day experience will draw to a close with a final de-brief after returning your equipment to the centre.

Please bare in mind gorge walking is a fairly physically demanding activity.

This is a half-day experience.

What to Wear / Equipment
All specialised equipment is provided such as safety kit, wet suits, buoyancy aids and helmets. You should take your swimsuit, a towel, a pair of shorts, and trainers or walking boots (good sole needed) to wear in the gorge.

Gorge walking can be affected by extreme weather conditions, if in doubt please check with the centre before setting off.
