Pilot a race ready Hydroplane Yamato OSY 400 known as the “kart” of inshore power boat racing! This incredible experience will have you lying face down just inches from the water as you race across the lake in a vessel capable of reaching speeds of up to 67mph! These international Race Prepared Hydroplanes will get the adrenaline pumping and provide you with one action packed adventure around the lake!

Agenda

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre you will be given a full safety briefing by an instructor before heading outside to the Powerboat. Your experience will begin at 9.00am with a session piloting a race ready Hydroplane Yamato OSY 400. This incredible vessel has a huge national and international following so spend your time speeding just inches from the water and challenging the ever changing course! Your experience will draw to a close with a de-brief back at the centre. Please Note: Lunch is included in the price.

Restrictions
Maximum height: 6’2”
Maximum weight: 16 stone
Minimum age: 16 years

Participants are required by law to disclose all medical conditions or disabilities that may affect or be affected by your participation. I.e., back/heart conditions/ hearing/sight/pregnancy.
You will be required to sign a declaration of your fitness to participate on arrival.
Parental signature/ authorisation will be required for participants under 18 years of age.
There is a zero tolerance approach to drugs and alcohol.
Third Party Public Liability Insurance is provided with your experience. Personal accident insurance can be purchased on the day if required.

Duration
Please allow approximately 5 hours for the whole experience.

What to Wear / Equipment
Suitable clothing such as lightweight jeans, trainers, a long sleeved shirt or a pullover is a must as It is very important to keep all limbs covered whilst driving the boats.
A change of clothing is also recommended just in case along with personal toiletries.
Changing /shower facilities are available.
All safety equipment will be provided and must be worn as instructed.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome free of charge, but should they require lunch this must be booked direct with the centre prior to the event – Cost £10.00 per person.

Weather
Extreme weather conditions may affect this experience please contact the centre prior to your arrival.
Any cancellations / amendments to the itinerary or boat changes are for your own safety.

Availability
Courses run on selected weekdays, Saturdays and some Sundays from May 1st through to October 1st – you are advised to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Your experience will be re-booked if cancelled due to inclement weather.
All dates are subject to availability.
Please Note: There will be up to 20 people on the experience.
